Partnering with Eureka Escape Room in Banff, Pacific Center for Leadership has developed an intriguing team development session, capitalizing on the allure and place-based setting of this fully immersive puzzle room.

The Warden’s Cabin Escape Room provides teams with challenging puzzles and problems solving activities within the setting of a warden’s cabin in Banff National Park. Teams compete against the clock to unlock the secrets of the room to reveal not only the hidden treasure, but also which behaviors make them a high performing team.

What to expect:

Rock climbing with Pacific Center for Leadership focuses on developing trust, accountability and communication skills. Team members provide essential support that requires commitment to ensure each other’s success.  Teams can learn how to work more effectively together through a highly stimulating experience, in a spectacular mountain environment.

Under the watchful guidance of certified Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, participants have the opportunity of learning the basics of rock climbing, and discovering more about the strengths and attributes of their team members.

Leadership Lens utilizes the medium of the visual and photographic arts to examine how creative processes influence team dynamics. This session is built on the idea that leading teams and team performance are considerably enhanced when our aesthetic competencies are better utilized (paying attention, personalizing, imaging, and collaborative inquiry). Leadership Lens has also been designed knowing that a temporary excursion away from words and into images can be useful in breaking blocks in thinking and for uncovering insights into patterns or revealing underlying assumptions.
