Partnering with Eureka Escape Room in Banff, Pacific Center for Leadership has developed an intriguing team development session, capitalizing on the allure and place-based setting of this fully immersive puzzle room.
The Warden’s Cabin Escape Room provides teams with challenging puzzles and problems solving activities within the setting of a warden’s cabin in Banff National Park. Teams compete against the clock to unlock the secrets of the room to reveal not only the hidden treasure, but also which behaviors make them a high performing team.
Our professional facilitation team will help to customize the experience so it moves beyond the challenge of completing puzzles. We’ll introduce the session, asking participants to define attributes of high performing teams and be intentional in how they work together and engage with each other while completing the puzzles. This activity provides the opportunity to better understand how team members work through new challenges and to try different approaches to creative problem solving.
While solving the puzzles is an important part of this experience, our facilitators will ensure participants have the opportunity to move to a deeper understanding of how they function as a team and where their strengths add most value in changing or new situations.
This half day session is best suited for teams of 6 to 10 participants, and requires three hours to complete. Larger teams can be accommodated with some changes to how the activity is structured. Advance booking is required.

"One of the key learnings is not necessarily applying the same processes to different problems and the need to better adapt from one challenge to the next. The simple fact that team members were talking about their experience a week after our team building experience in the escape room, proved to me that it was more impactful than 90% of the exercises I have been involved in.”
