 Membership Information

Membership in the Bow Valley Kayak Club includes the following:

  1. Youth & adult programs/courses
  2. Youth can participate in the Alberta Summer Games
  3. Club trips
  4. The use of club boats & gear
  5. Membership in the Alberta Whitewater Association (AWA), which includes:
    • AWA liability insurance
    • saves $5 when participating in AWA programs and events, including KanFest, 3 Rivers Festival, and more
  6. Aquabatics (Calgary) discounts

There are two options available for those joining the Bow Valley Kayak Club:

  • individual membership for $50

  • or family membership for $100 (first 2 paddlers) + $10 / additional paddler

These are annual fees (January - December).

ONLINE BVKC Membership & Pool / River Drop in Punch Card Registration

 An AWA-BVKC waiver (or AWA-BVKC Acknowledgement of Risk for minors) is required for each member. A completed membership form is required for those not registering online.
